In these hours, Tottenham started a “full investigation” to find out how some fans of Red Star Belgrade were able to enter the stadium of the company to attend the Champions League match last Tuesday night.
The group of supporters, in fact, became the protagonist of racist choirs during the qualifying competition in Finland in July. A truly regrettable situation that has been condemned by all members of the club, who do not accept racist behavior.
A club spokesman said: “Red Star supports illegally obtained individual tickets on Level 5 and made their way around one section of the stadium. We have launched a full investigation in order to understand how to buy tickets”.
The UEFA, therefore, reserves the right to investigate to understand how to proceed and above all to understand how such a thing could have happened.
To talk about it also the coach of the team that undoubtedly condemns what happened but hopes to see the fans of his team again soon at the stadium. “This is the 21st century, it is distasteful to talk about this issue. I absolutely condemn any racist behavior. On the other hand, I would love to see you tomorrow, they really help us, we feel better when they are around.
I just don’t talk about this, but if you are asking me if I condemn this sort of behavior, I absolutely do”.
